Bowling Innovator Seeks to Strike Competitor from the Market

Legendary Strikes Mobile Bowling, LLC v. Luxury Strike LLC et al, Civil Action No. 1:22-cv-05065-ELR (N.D. Ga., Dec. 22, 2022)

A recent Northern District of Georgia complaint pits two bowling alley providers against one another over alleged trademark violations.

The Plaintiff, Legendary Strikes Mobile Bowling, LLC, is a mobile bowling party and event services innovator, offering a unique entertainment experience in Georgia since October 2021. The Plaintiff alleges the Defendants, Luxury Strike LLC and an individual, have engaged in unfair business practices including trademark infringement, fraudulent registration, and cybersquatting under the Lanham Act. In particular, the Plaintiff alleges that the Defendant knowingly pursued “a parallel project of purloining both Legendary’s business model, trademarks, and customers.” Complaint, Civil Action No. 1:22-cv-05065-ELR, at 6 (N.D. The case has been assigned to Judge Eleanor Louise Ross.
