August Image, LLC v. Swisswatchexpo, Inc., Civil Action No. 1:23-cv-00676-TCB (N.D. Ga., Feb. 14, 2023)

A licensing agent representing five photographers has brought suit for copyright infringement in the Northern District.

The agent serves as the exclusive licensing agent to certain works by photographers Joe Pugliese, Sebastian Kim, Noe DeWitt, Miller Mobley, and Greg Williams. The Complaint accuses the Defendant, an Atlanta-based luxury watch retailer, of unauthorized use of the copyrighted works in connection with marketing the Defendant’s business. The photographs all depict men wearing watches, and were published on the Defendant’s website.

The case has been assigned to Judge Timothy Batten, Sr.
