Three patents involved with receipt scanning and financial organization are at the center of a complaint recently filed in the Northern District of Georgia. The Patents, No. 8,693,070, No. 8,373,912, and No. 10,453,151, are directed at technological improvements in computer and scanning technology. The complaint alleges that Defendant Acuant, Inc., which maintains an established place of business in Atlanta, directly infringed one or more claims of each of the three patents, literally or by the doctrine of equivalents.

The case has been assigned to Judge Mark Cohen.
