Hong Kong Corporation Sues Three in Children’s Toy Patent Dispute

A Hong Kong-based consumer products corporation is suing three entities – one U.S.-based, one Israel-based, and one Singapore-based – for patent infringement in the Northern District of Georgia. The patent in dispute, United States Patent No. 10,357,676, is directed to a multifunctional children’s toy that combines in one configuration a trampoline, or in another configuration a playpen, pool, or ball pit. The Plaintiff, Tetro LTD., accuses the Defendants of direct and induced infringement under 35 U.S.C. § 271(a) and (b). According to the complaint, the U.S. corporation involved is incorporated in Delaware and maintains its principal places of business in Atlanta, GA, Charleston, SC, Waterford, MI, Raleigh, NC, and Wilmington, DE.

The case has been assigned to Judge Leigh Martin May.
