BE Labs, Inc.’s “Wireless Multimedia System” Patents Incite Infringement Drama

BE Labs, Inc. v. Kaijet Technology International Limited Inc., Civil Action No. 1:22-cv-02490-SEG (N.D. Ga. June 22, 2022)

On June 22, 2022, Plaintiff BE Labs, Inc. filed suit against Defendant Kaijet Technology International Limited Inc. in the Northern District of Georgia (Atlanta Division) for patent infringement. Plaintiff owns U.S. Patent No. 7,827,581 (the “‘581” Patent) entitled “Wireless multimedia system” issued on November 11, 2010 by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Plaintiff also owns U.S. Patent No. 9,344,183 (the “’183” Patent) entitled “Wireless multimedia system” issued on May 5, 2016 by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

In the Complaint, Plaintiff alleges that Defendant’s “JWR2100 16 User Wireless Presentation Display Router” product directly infringes both the ’581 and ’183 Patents (with actual knowledge as of the Complaint’s filing) and further alleges that Defendant induced infringement of the ’581 and ’183 Patents. This case has been assigned to Judge Sarah E. Geraghty.
