K2 Concepts, Inc., v. Zhushuangjie, Civil Action No. 4:23-cv-00117-WMR (N.D. Ga., June 8, 2023)

Plaintiff filed suit in in the Northern District of Georgia for copyright infringement of a sculptural design. According to the Complaint, the Plaintiff composed an original sculptural design of a fish. Complaint, ¶ 8. Defendant sells the allegedly infringing plastic fish on amazon.com. Id. at ¶ 7. Plaintiff filed two similar lawsuits in the Northern District on the same day against other sellers of the same fish design, Civil Action Nos. 4:23-cv-00116-WMR and 4:23-cv-00115-WMR.

The case has been assigned to Judge William M. Ray, II.
